LORD God, almighty, great of pow’r,
Whose works are wondrous solely,
And who abidest evermore,
Whose ways are just and holy:
Thy Word is true and full of grace,
Thou art the King in every place
Among Thy holy Christians!

2 The world thus rightly fears Thee now
And gives Thy name all glory—
The only holy Champion, Thou—
All nations come before Thee
And do Thee worship, Thee alone!
For now, Thy judgments are made known
And truly manifested.

der du bleibst allewege,
groß und wundersam sind dein Werk
und auch gerecht dein Wege,
wahrhaftig ist dein seligs Wort,
ein König bist an allem Ort
bei dein heiligen Christen.

2 Drum fürcht dich billich alle Welt,
thut deinen Namen preisen,
du bist allein der heilig Held
zu dem all Heiden reisen,
für dir sie beten an allein,
dieweil nunmehr die Urtheil dein
sind offenbaret worden.
